HOW much it costs the BBC to stage the Children in need programmes I.E. the regional ones and the London main one. My main question is should they cut out the middle men and just donate that cost to the chairty?

In answer to the peron who said that another programme shedule would have gost more I disagree. They would have been programmes that could have been sold to other networks thus paying for themselves whereas this live show could not.

How much would it cost them NOT to stage Children in Need? They would still have to show a programme and that presumably would cost more.

it's not just about raising money you know, it is also about raising awareness...that is why they do the show. it is alright for some but we cannot just forget about these charities and throw money at them to keep them quiet, it is about giving abused children a voice of there own. and a chance for people who have been affected by abuse to do their bit and help raise some money for the charities, is that good enough for you.?
