If there were an all out nuclear war, there would follow (so they tell us) an induced nuclear winter which would last for decades and cool the planet, so should we promote such an event as a cure for global warming?

A good solution maybe but would we not be swapping one disaster, with all its problems ,for another? We do not know what the long term affect would be, plus there would be a loss of most of life form. All we can each do is our bit to help slow global warming by using less energy etc.

It's already too late, to curb the current trend of global temperature rises we all (everybody in the world) have to stop using our cars, use less electricity, etc. At the moment I can't see it happening ,can u? So we're all damned to hell!

Global warming is nothing to worry about. When I was a kid they talked about the next ice age which was to be in our lifetime. Didn't happen. Nothing is going to happen here either. Don't waste your energy worrying about it.

Very good point. I'm not keen on the cold though so lets use up all the ozone. Sun tanned for 12months a year.

Sounds good. We can all get an instant tan to last through the winter.
