Yes it makes you feel less than when you arent complimented , to react to it , if it bothers you that bad , make suttle changes , clothes, attitude, cologne, ect....someone will notice.

Unless you are the attention seeking type and want to be noticed all the time, you would want to get that attention by all means even wearing a sexy red dress at age 60!! The most important thing is to dress for the occasion, act gracefully an neatly and I am sure that your appearance will speak for itself if you are accommodating and friendly to everyone, and that will draw a lot of attention...What is important that will make an impression on others is how you carry yourself in that room full of people.

The person that compliments me the most would be my boyfriend. He tells me every day how beautiful I am and how much he loves me BUT I don't feel like if he missed a day I would lose faith in my self. Know that I think about it before I started dating him no one complimented me on a regular basis. Well, there was this one girl at work that would whistle when I walked up but ............. that is another story all together. My self worth is not dependent on how others feel about me but how I feel about myself!!

Woman cannot have it booth ways. Say for instance a woman is really beautiful. nice figure. She has the nice to die for grabbin buns, Great curvy hips, beautiful head of hair, and Ben and Jerry are really pronounced, I mean her Chaloopa's, her Sweater Bunnies stand on their own, her Blouse Puppies are really barkin.
Well if we men want to comment on any of those assets like, Man, your Jugs look great today or great Fun bags you have there or I'd love to walk behind your rear end or just, you are really beautiful.
We men could lose our jobs, Get sued, be acused of sexual hair *** ment. It's like we men don't know if the gun is really loaded. so we back off and leave you to wonder if that beautiful rack of yours is really noticed. Course now if you hang um out there we will hang our eyes on um and be careful not to be accused of undressing you with your eyes. Which was the whole reason you hung them out in the first place. Yes, you can't have it both ways!

I'd guess I wasn't anything to look at and wouldn't feel very much different than I usually do. Got over that silly type of hurt long ago.

its better to compliment when you really mean it.
it can become very easy to commend people on ttheir looks because its seen as diplomatic.
when you find someone you really care for though
it makes the relationship more credable if you complimant each other, if only speacial occasions

I would not care at all as nobody should. Nobody should care about their looks or what anyone says about them. Just taking care of themselves and being happy is enough.

I think the only thing that would bother me about that is my SO, he should do so more than special events (and he does :)
