Thanks...you are so sweet. Well we used to adore Tom until he said that people did not need meds for depression and that women do not suffer from post partum depression after having a baby. At one time he and Brooke Shields were at odds. That seems to have been settled as she was at his wedding. His beliefs, Scientology, are pretty controversial over here too.
However I think that eventually he will rebound from all the bad press and people will like him a lot more in time. There will be other folks to talk about in the future and give Tom a break.

Because he is a couch-jumping , scientologist, cant take a joke, cant look him in the eyes, idiot. One time a guy was faking to be a reporter and squirted Tom Cruise in the face with water out of a fake mic...it was a joke Tom, get over it. Do you know what Bill Gates did when a guy threw a pie in his face? He laughed. I think the hatred rises mostly from his condescending nature. And the fact that he is waiting for the mothership to come back for him and the rest of the scientologists.

Because a lot of people get obsessed with celebrities and they begin to believe that how they are in movies is how they are in real life. So when a celebrity show up to Oprah and stomps on her couch, the world sees the real Tom Cruise and is shocked that he really isn't Maverick, but a weirdo about Scientology.

I personally like his movies, but that's where I draw the line with actors and musicians.

Well, it's now 2016, and Cruise has finally overcome the Matt Lauer interview. It took about ten years, but people finally got tired of the Cruise-bashing. It helps that he stopped discussing Scientology publicly.

he's been acting very odd over the last several years. and has been forcing his religious beliefs and his "i'm right, you're not!" attitude all down our throats. i use to like him as an actor, some of his movies were good. but i have absolutely no respect for the man anymore as a human being.

-divorcing nicole kidman & to make matters worse turns out that she was pregnant with his baby but miscarried
-jumping off the couch on oprah & professing his love for katie holmes
