Learn to speak in public..Take a course thr your local toastmasters club..or take a course from a motivational speaker type person..It is rather easy guts is the clue..no guts no glory..In my opinion self confidence is learned thru success of accomplishments,. praise from others, a good feeling you have from successfully complete a task where the outcome was to your or others satisfaction. Stop and think if no one ever praised you, told you hey you did good, or what you did was super etc, etc, then you would not have much confidence in what you do.. I have found that if a person learns to speak in public or has acquired the ability to speak to an audience they will have self-confidence quickly..Most people are afraid to speak in public those that can have it head and shoulders over other. Just my jopinion..you can also involve yourself in things where you will receive recognition for you accomplishments, sports, individual games, helping others less fortunate, volunteering in your local community to help on various projects as a team player..the list goes on and on..Good Luck to you and your answers..very good question..

You have to ask yourself what it is that does not give you confidence? It could go as far back as your early childhood days when you have lost it...
To regain it back you have to say to yourself that you can do it and practice it in front of the mirror...never mind about talking to yourself, keep practicing until you gain confidence....then practice it on your sibling and ask for their opinion. practice makes perfect...good luck!
