so basically the question is asking why and not what. i am really baffed with the question so please try help lol

added value is things like: meeting international competition.
2) meet customer requirements.
3)to improve profit
4) to survive and grow.

In my opinion, quality is a phrase used by McDonald's to fool the public.

If McDonald's really wanted to help the customer, as the world's largest purchaser of beef, they could demand the end of steroid use in cattle which is passed on to the customer doing to them the same thing it does to the cow - make humans mature earlier and gain excessive weight.

They could also put pressure of the feed companies like Purina to stop using dead animals in their feed which is the source of mad cow disease.

THAT WOULD BE QUALITY.

Quality in McDonalds food does not exist. Value in McDonalds food exists because it is so gross that nobody is willing to pay very much for their garbage. I'm serious here, but to answer your silly question, I would have to say all of the above.
