i have waited, and they have waited for me. it's not always a patient wait, but a wait just the same, good friends, you want to hold on to. when you are real friends you pretty much know when to contact each other. if she hasn't contacted you, you should contact her. don't make a game or a competition out of it, you guys are suppose to be friends, am i right?

I did and it took 6 years for me to get back in touch with a good friend of mine, and I was the one who made the initiative. For other good friends of mine, however, I have lost touch with most of them. You can make someone feel that you care about him/her simply by picking up the phone and call them to say hi. Friends become acquaintances when the connection dilutes, but acquaintances can turn into friends when they get closer. Now, I'd always take the initiative to call my friends. If they are busy, leave them alone and try again later. Don't just sit around expecting others to call you, becasue they probably think the same too.

no i dont, i'm the one fron our "group" that initiates the contact, if i dont hear from someone for a while i'll send the "guilt" letter lololol, they expect it! they always say i'm so sorry i'm so glad you keep trying etc etc.......i'm the glue that held the group together and now i moved, i dont think theyve gotten together since my going away party.
