I have wanted to visit N. Korea for many years and would like to do so before I die. I lived in S. Korea for six years and my first wife, who passed away in 1997, was a refugee from N. Korea. I have twice been to PanMunJom in the DMZ which separates N. and S. Korea. Hopefully, someday the two Koreas will unite and it will be much easier for Americans to travel to the north.
