you can forgive.... but sometimes its hard to forget...
try and love like you have never been hurt before... never take it out on the next person you are in a relationship for having your heart broken by someone in your past. this always works for me..
sometimes things in life just happen, and you end up hurt, but what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger.
good luck and i hope my advice helps

It depends on your relationship with that soul. If it your own soul then of course you can and remarkably simply once you realize how and have the courage to do so. Just watch your soul and the suffering associated with it. Don't discard pain or suffering but instead offer it attention from an unattached view point.
In the words of the great sage Sri Maharaj
Suffering is primarily a call for attention, which itself is a movement of love. More than happiness, love wants growth, the widening and deepening of awareness and consciousness and being. Whatever prevents that becomes a cause of pain, and love does not shirk from pain."
If the broken soul/ heart is another's then you don't have the same control over their suffering although your relationship with them may be responsible for their suffering. In this case reconciliation with you will do tremendous good. In the very least if they can't find forgiveness in their hearts not adding to the pain is the best bet and let time heal them. In any case the best way to help another is through deep compassion and the consequent understand of others that follows. To achieve this level of compassion come to know your true nature of being one of love.
Realizing you are in fact love in action is the greatest achievement possible to living beings. This is what Jesus did if you prefer following Christ although simply having the desire to end suffering will start you on a course that will lead to this realization however you may get there.

I pray that your previous answer is true. For I've broken someone elses heart and waiting desperately for foregiveness. Needless to say, I fear that it will be a long time but I continue to pray for patience and strength. So...my answer, God can heal a broken heart but there are no guarantees for me and that's difficult to accept.

concentration on finding your midsection and re-achieving your stability spiritually. which will mean various issues to distinctive people yet for me it ability going to nature and the Goddess for healing and mending. Drawing on the energies of the climate---hearth, air, water and earth in the form of formality might help as nicely. A broken, mended soul will continuously maintain the scar even with the indisputable fact that it would be extra advantageous by way of fact of it.

Only God can. Go see the movie "One Night with the King." It will lift your spirits and show you how the divine hand of providence moves in our lives and turns sorrow into joy.

I'll monitor this question for a good answer. I've got nothing to offer, sadly.
