A unexpected..not planned black and white of a person. It's when they are at their most natural and the blk/white gives the pic a real feeling with depth.

Black and white, dark colors, just a single person in it with lots of shadows, some of the night, some landscapes, rain, some dark and really twisted... :-)

I really like black and white photos, then make it so there is only one color. Like a red rose, or the blue eyes. Those just look really nice. And they are fun to make.
Sepia makes for a nice photo also.

Candid shots so everybody looks natural.
If you could see my family's professional portraits you would see that my smile is exactly the same from year to year. You can cut and paste my face and put it on any one of them and I look the same.
I call it my picture face.
