It is a film I remember from my childhood. It must had been about 10-15 years ago, and I was wondering if anyone remembered it? I had completely forgotton about it, until I had a dream last night, and I remembered I was obsessed with it. It was about a princess who had been kidnapped by goblins.

Also, does anyone remember this film, I can't recall what it was called but it was about an enchanted forest, and at the end the 'villian' turned good and all these flowers started growing on him. A bit vauge I know!! It was quite bizarre!!

Yes, I know that movie. Princess Irene gets kidnapped by the goblins because they want her to marry their Prince, so the goblins can rule the "Sun-people." The song for that movie gets stuck in your head. "There's a power in every noooote. A power that starts within the heart, a power that rises through the throooooat." I first saw that movie a long time ago, way back in fourth grade. As for the second movie, maybe it's Fern Gully. The villain gets trapped in a tree, and flowers and vines grow up around it. The villain was the voice of Tim Curry, by the way.

Yes, I remember the Princess and the Goblin. It's based on a book, I forget who the author is, but I remember reading it. Yes, she was kidnapped by goblins, they were going to make her marry Prince Froglip as their revenge on the Sun People.
The problem with your second question is, I know what movie you're talking about but can't think of the title. Names keep popping into my head, but they aren't where the villian turns good. The Beatle's Yellow Submarine, for one. Also, that Troll in Central Park movie. The evil troll queen turns into a rose bush or something. Wish I could think of it. Darn.

Blimey! I never even *knew* there had been a film of it. It was a book first, of course, by George MacDonald (very late 19th century), who was writing at around the same time as people like William Morris, with their faux-medieval fantasies.

There was a sequel to the book called "The Princess and Curdie", which was darker and more violent - even though they are purportedly "children's" books, they are great nightmare inducers if a child reads them too young - the modern generation is too soft, believe me!

I shall now have to try and find a copy of the film - thanks for letting me know about it!

Could be Legend you're talking about. Were there unicorns in it?
