Everybody's got that one feature they dislike, and for me that would be my nose. I'd appreciate any makeup tricks you've got!

Repair my nose? It was never broken. I don't understand why so many are suggesting surgery. I'm simply asking for makeup tips for a small cosmetic thing.

If you want to change your nose's appearance, but don't want to undergo surgery, you can use corrective makeup to change the appearance of your nose.

Corrective makeup is the use of foundations, powders and concealers to even out skin tones, hide blemishes, and to make other facial features appear smaller, broader or thinner (ex: cheekbones, nose, and lips). Depending on what you want to change about your nose, you’ll apply a different “shading” technique using various shades of foundation.

What do you need to use?

Liquid or cream Foundation. – use various shades for contouring.
Powder – to set your foundation. Apply last.
Sponge – for blending
Flat, rectangular blending brush -- for blending and contouring

What shading techniques could you use?

For a shorter nose: blend a darker color under the nose and up over the tip.
For a longer nose: highlight over and under the tip of your nose.
For a wider nose: use a broad highlight down the center and blend well using a lighter foundation.
For a narrower nose: highlight the sides of your nose and blend well
Other tips:

To enhance the shape of your overall face, use a blush to contour your jaw, which balances with the contouring of your nose.
Make sure your hairstyle is suited for your face and nose. Some shorter, thinner cuts make your nose look larger.

ok dont worry dear, no need of a surgery....
make sure u buy 1 or 2 shades darker than the usual foundation n keep it ok..
wen u do ur mak up apply(the 1 u always use) the foudation as ususal on face, nose, neck n blend it well wth a wet sponge.
next take the darker shade apply it slightly on the sides of ur nose, make sure its NOT VISIBLE & u must blend it well in2 ur skin.
apply powder as ususal.
this is "corrective make up" once done in the proper way, u cud achiev wonderful results..
all the best.

wear a darker foundation on the sides of your nose, and a slightly lighter foundation in a straight line down the center. This will give the illusion of "Shadow and highlight" and will make your nose appear slimmer.
Practice a bit first, and remember, a little goes a long way...

with this problem the best thing to do is to consult a dermatologist on how to repair your nose... there are also make up which can help you look good but its only temporary so if you want something that last long surgery is the answer to your problem.
