Yes I have and I mark that up to a few things.
1. Could be the late hour in which they are typing as its 430am for me and screen is starting to blur.
2. The amount of alcohol they have been drinking before and as they logon to ask questions.
3. They just are not taking time to hit the Check Spelling option in the post window.

I don't think spelling is the most important thing about polls and surveys. In fact I think the questions are starting to get really odd.

Yes, many people can't spell but maybe they have other attributes.

Einstein was bad at math as a kid.

Everyone is probably just typing so fast and click submit before they even get a chance to read what they have written..i know i have done that several times

I don't really pay attention to how they are spelled.As long as I can read them I don't care if it is not spelled right.I make mistakes all the time.

i look to the intent of the query, not the form. spelling only annoys me if the question itself is offensive! lolololol, human nature.
