Well I think "Life is nothing but a game of probabilities".
And if God exists I bet he's a kid who has set up the stage for us to act and he enjoys watching us!
I don't think there's destiny but I think we decide what to do and what our destiny is and the laws of probability decide whether we succeed or not. If we succeed we say perhaps it was destined for me to do this. And if we fail we just we look for another destiny! And any case of serendipity is nothing but again probability!

It's neither. To believe in Destiny would take the purpose out of life. Accident and luck ignores the value of effort and planning. It's neither Destiny nor Luck, it's planning with a purpose followed by action.

Yes I do.
I believe we all have our destiny of destinies to learn, to follow to fulfill.
I always felt the 'unknown purpose' but it took so many lessons before I saw it, before I realized all the lessons were only to remove the blindfolds to follow what I always felt.
I believe my destiny is the same as everybody elses, to fulfill my life with as much love as I can, experience and share the pain and lessons, the joys and love.
Each an' all with different experiences, each an' all with something to give strength to another by our sharing. Knowledge is gained by learning, wisdom is gained by experiencing and learning from the mistakes made, from the knowledge we gained by that particular experience in our lives; if each shared our wisdom it may help another to gain it younger, to help them to avoid the same mistakes we made to gain the wisdom.

I think part of life is figuring out what that purpose is and your journey in fulfilling it.

No I never did. I never had such a feeling. But due to what I have discovered, that may change. Not a destinty, but, given the discovery, a purpose, maybe. I don't know.

Plenty of people believe that - though I'm afraid this ol' cynic isn't among them. My purpose is whatever I choose it to be at any given time.

as you make yourself out to be the only why something is to get done you fail to relize that you have missed out on all that was before you that needed to get done

We make our own purpose; we are not predestined to any particular purpose.
It's called 'free will.' We are presented with choices daily . . . choose well, friend.
