my boyfriend has a nickname from an ex its called "alcomist" but what does it mean? he wont tell me, im not sure he knows! but what does it mean?

Maybe he's an expert in alcohol drinks. Or a person who works with alcohol stuff.

Sounds like a mis-spelling of "alchemist", who were best known for attempting to transmute lead into gold, although alchemy is actually a scientific, spiritual and philosophical discipline encompassing a heck of a lot more than metallurgy.

It should be "alchemist". It means to convert base metal into gold.

Are you sure it isn't alchemist? It is basically an old time chemist who tried to find miracle cures from concoctions.
