It is great, and the way I live and work, sometimes I may not see trusted friends for years, and then just run into them somewhere totally unexpected. It's odd, but I have so many trusted friends that I rarely see.
Clarification: I don't go to jail, and neither do my friends. I simply have a job that takes me to other places for extended periods of time, or requires me to do a lot of research without interruptions.

SO NICE, I won't use the word 'nice' to describe it.
It will be a warm and friendly meeting and all the old memories will start flooding back... An overwhelming sense of nostalgia and happiness! Maybe a few tears even!

It's amazing. I have tons of acquaintances, but I don't have a lot of really close friends. The ones I do have, I truly love unconditionally. And seeing them after a long time apart is a salve for my soul.
