I LOVED the 'Money Pit' with Shelley Long and Tom Hanks - its the most hilarious comedy I have EVER seen!!
Sadly, I can't recall any film that has given me big belly, aching sides laughs since - Ive maybe had a little chuckle, or a snortle at some, but I can't think of a single comedy that has made me laugh to that extreme.
I will keep an eye on this question and see what everyone else thinks and then I'll have a watch of those!!!

Hmmm... Shawshank redemption and Green Mile.. Yes I remember those to be real side splitters...?!!
For me though a real funny film has to be High Aniexity.. Mel Brookes classic. A take off of all the Hitchcock Films..

The Producers.
The Shawshank Redemption (as good as a film it was) sure as damn wasn't a comedy...or maybe I didn't understand it as perhaps I should have!
Nice one, funkysoul!
