In one of my light hearted answers I made this point - said in a jocular way, but based on truth. I've also noticed that they seem to base there answers on other answers, eg. The first person misreads or doesn't understand the question, and gives an answer with no relevance to it. Many others then do exactly the same - odd.
I think that some people use Answers as a tool for psychological relief - they seem to be determined to be upset and abusive before they have even read the question - could do without them; not particularly what I want.

I just looked back at your question "should I leave him" to understand what you are probably talking about.
To be honest I don't think that it is the kind of question that you should be asking strangers on a message board who don't know you - I expect that is why some people aren't answering you sensibly. Unfortunately it is the kind of question that you must answer yourself - if yahoo answers could solve everything life would be easy!
You also get divs who just write anything for points of course....

One reason could be that the headline question does not accurately sum up the full question.
There are some people on this site who simply want to send abuse whatever the question, then whinge when they get a violation notice.

It rather annoys me while human beings do this. It amazes me how an worry-free question will continuously be able to offend somebody. the two they do no longer study it actual or only get a kick out of being nasty. some actual freaks on right here.

Maybe its the way the question is put. it's hard to decipher someones emotions etc by reading a question.

Because they don't really care and just want to get the points. If they don't understand the question they should just move on to one they do understand.

No, you want people politely agreeing with you, not honesty.
