Why dont they sell golf balls that emit a sound signal when they are lost? I
'm thinking of something like a car key where the car lights come on if you within range.

£20 sounds ok to me. There is no worse feeling than hitting a good shot that disappears especilly if its plugged.

Hi >
I see what you mean by putting a transponder in a golf-ball.
A hand-held tracker would locate it, a system such as in animal tracking. It would work & survive a drive.
However the balls would be about £20 each. At least.
Cheaper to hire someone to wander around the course in front of you & see where it lands. A simple solution.
Bob.

Have you ever cut open a golf ball? try it some day. putting some sort of technology inside that "beeps" will alter the properties of the ball, probably for the worst. People wouldn't use them. And there probably isn't technology that could survive the first strike from a club.

A golf ball size tumor is really big to be not felt.but sometimes especially if the breast tissues are thick with fatty tissues its not easy to examine.what she has done,(mammography) is the best modality to scan even the thickest tissues of the breast.i would totally rely on the scan results if done from a reputable hospital.it is not uncommon not to feel a lump in the breast either because breast itself consists of lots of nodes which feels like lumps.

Reading the previous answer, if you could alter the ball properties - you could devise a way to steer it.........now there's a thought. It wouldn't need to make a sound coz it would never get lost. Should push you up the scoreboard too.
