Why are footballers wives so identikit?

Surely with the amount of cash at their disposal their style should be far more individual instead of looking like they all come from the same mould?
And why do footballers keep falling for it? Would they not prefer a wife who stands out instead of one who drowns in a sea of similar mini dresses?

I'm saying because I saw a pic of Teddy Sheringham and his kicked out miss UK/England and all I could think was 'she looks like the - identical - cat who got the cream and he looks like a fool.

I think it's a special formula ......... take one large dollop of blonde, excessive amounts of make up, add some push-up bras with plenty of low tops and short skirts and program "The Sun's" telephone number in your mobile phone's speed dial.

I think it's down to newspaper editors. They expect a certain stereotypical look, and if they don't get it, the "footballers wife", or whoever, will get ridiculed in the papers.

I couldn't agree with you more; it would only take a few big names to change things (Victoria Beckham, for example).
