One man's loophole is another man's constitutional right. There are reasons for the warrant requires of the fourth amendment and the rules regarding double jeopardy. These rights stem from the fact that tyrannical governments could just come into your house at any time for any reason or no reason. In history, in some places, one could be tried again and again until one was found guilty, yet the law is really so subjective and is usually won by the person with the best argument (read: spin or perhaps lie). These rights are protections against tyranny. That OJ got away with murder is just the price we pay for the system we have which protects are rear ends from an oppressive government. It's the worse system except for all the others!
