AVG Antivirus is the one to use. I have used , trend micro cillan , norton , mcafee , virus dr. and bitdefender.

AVG is best out of all the antiviruses except for Bitdefender. If you don't mind spending some money on your antivirus program then Bitdefender is definitely the best . It has been rated the 1 antivirus out of all the antiviruses.

The rating has been done by PC WORLD MAGAZINE , the following link shows these ratings

However if you don't use the internet heavily and you don't have such important data on your pc then go with AVG , since it is free and has fairly solid protection. I use AVG since i don't have anything important on my pc.

You can find AVG from the following link

i take advantage of a blend of AVGfree and Malwarebytes. you may receive both for loose. i don't love Norton both. My pc got here with McAfee and were given hit through an epidemic that 4 diverse human beings nonetheless have not thoroughly bumped off the damaged led to through that. I then tried Norton and positioned it slowed issues down too a lot and also were given an epidemic with that. I have had no issues when you consider that eliminating them.

Among the paid ones, I think I would rate both Kaspersky and BitDefender above Norton and McAfee. Among the free ones, AVG and Avast are the best.
P.S. Always keep ONE anti-virus because two or more will fight each other. If you are a home user, you can safely choose for a free anti-virus, because they get rid of about 90-92% viruses and these include the ones which usually attack home users. Here is the link to AVG and Avast, get any one. I prefer AVG.

Avast or AVG anti virus are both free and equaly as good if not better to norton and Mcaffe. It wont eat you system resources either.

norton is better, while it may have its drawbacks (resource issue) it is one of the best at detection and performance.
i would rather know that i'm protected than be sorry later.
avg is a popular free one, but its detection and removal are lacking.
if avg is sooo good why does it not remove some virus's?

Panda Software hands down is the best AntiVirus on the market and is not bloated like the other vendors. Those who like free AV's will get what they paid for in the long run

both are not better! why don't you try f-prot antivirus? I'm using it right now and its faster, easier, and removes hidden, locked, or any virus found on your computer. It removed the virus from my hidden file. you may download it at www.f-prot.com
