Well, if this is possible, I think society will be shocked but after like 5 seconds, they will get on with their lives. Society has got serious problems than a cat and a dog making puppies or kittens or whatever you would call their offsprings.

I saw a article on this topic on the net today they are currently doing a dna test to prove it we would have catpuppies and maybe the world may be in a new light then cats and dogs will get along better

They'd probably turn out like CatDog. I don't think they'd be called puppies either. It'd be really weird, but I don't know if it would really affect society or not. I'm sure everyone would want one though.

They wouldn't be puppies, they would either be kitpies or puptens. And society would really be freaking out and the celebrities would be lined up to buy the new bling.

Nevada is right...BitBit and Tinkerbell would be pushed aside so Britney and Paris could carry around their new freakish little animals!

That cat would be MIGHTY pissed off, and (a) demand to know what other dog the dog had been humping, (b) wonder if it would ever have kittens or at least puptens or kitpies.

it would mean the pregnant couple making up the story about their cat that is nursing puppies is trying to get money to help them with the baby they are expecting... its not genetically possible... and if it did happen it would change the way scientists learned about evolution, mating, and cells... for those that might not relize this is currently a news headline here on yahoo http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061117/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_brazil_dogcats_1

Nope don't think it could happen even tho on the news I have seen a cat that had puppies.....I think it's fake. I guess we would have catdogs.

I think [seriously] that just happened. The female was a cat. They are currently doing DNA testing to verify the phenomenon.
