Well I have the cure for that...if you ...and perhaps this is tongue in cheek, answer my questions, you will be so exhausted that you will be spent of it. there comes a point that disenchantment sets in....that sitting in the same place for such an extended period of time and the disassociative measures of human contact & intimacy really push youinto the realm of delusion that you are really accomplishing anything. This answering of the questions becomes a kind of sustinance and you begin to know another reality contrary to anything you have EVER known....now every thing in text, from the keyboard to the screen is your life...god forbid your mouse should break....or the power go out. I know...i was there. I, on purpose didnt look to see what your level rating is, or the sequence of your exactitudes in priorities of answering, i.e. polls and surveys, history, fashion, psychology..etc....for you may majour in Astrology and "Give great copy and paste" in Astrology and Minor in Auto Mechanics with an Occasional seg into Problems affecting Singles or myriad things.
I have only REALLY been answering since May, so it has been 6 months proper an i have hit the so called "Tiara" of 17,500 points, become terribly disenchanted with this whole format. I have my own reasons....I once was excited to 'do the dance' that his reqires, and thought that thi actually got me out of the chat rooms.....perhaps that is a good thing. BUT, look what happened, I actually ended up givng up MORE of my TRUE identity in lieu of my journalistic involvement and altruistic intent.
I do NOT mean to sound hard. Yours is a fair question...perhaps even a ruse... i don't know as once more I am answering a question. A better question as I think you know the answer is Why Do You Keep Answering The Questions? Look soon in the polls and surveys and you might just see the question...*wink*
Are you a point maniac? An over achiever? In love with words?
ONLY YOU KNOW!!!!! Hence, i havent a clue......

Because people are social animals, and seek validation, or recognition, or sincerely want to help others without getting out of our chairs.

Plus, you learn a lot, not just about particular topics, but about how some people would like to present themselves on the internet.

Because people want to get to the next level and get many points as possible, whether its really good questions or dumb questions, you want those two points and get excited when someone picks you as best answer and you get 10 more points, that's what happens to me anyway.

Being able to sound off about something is always good.
Knowing someone else will at least read it is even better.
