Kids sleeping. Kids laughing. Crickets chirping. My dog growling when he plays. Ice Cream Man. Even though I'm 33 I still feel the urge to get up and run and shout ICE CREAM MAN!!

I love the sound of the ocean slapping against the shore, but if you throw in a wooded cove with the wind rustling through the leaves and children laughing in the background, and a cat purring softly in your lap.....wow.

There are several sounds that I love:
1. The sound of a baby's first giggle.
2. My child saying "I love you Mommy"
3. The wind blowing through the tops of pine trees.
4. The low rumble of distant thunder.
5. A beautiful song, sung in harmony
6. The sounds of the first days of spring.

My most favorite sound would be the small patter of rain as it slapped the earth violently with it's hard hatred. It's so lovely and peaceful, as even though the life around it has seemed to stop in the heat of the moment, and taken away all life. It's gorgeous.

Have to say it's the sound of my kids laughing. I love when the kids are having a good time together and the four of them get to laughing.
I also enjoy the sound of rain on the roof. Or wind through the trees.

This probably sounds really soft but it's the breathing of my baby. It's almost inaudible and it's so gentle. It makes my feel such a surge of love for him when he is lay on my chest fast asleep without a care in the world.

Hearing the early morning birds that just migrated back after leaving in the winter. I'm always so excited to hear them in early spring and know that summer is just around the bend. The first lawn mower in the spring. The crickets on warm summer nights.

I like a voice of an angel. Have you ever heard someone sing and it touches your spirit or makes you feel really calm?
