What is so good about 80 degree heat and above? It makes me lose energy fast. It makes me tired. It is very uncomfortable. It is hard to work in. You have to wear a pound of bug spray and sun tan lotion. In the winter you add layers and be comfortable. There are no bugs to worry about. The sky is a whole lot prettier and cleaner. It is easier to breathe. You can hug somebody without sticking to them. You don't sweat by just being outside for 30 seconds. It seems like more people like 100 degree temps than 40 degree temps. Does anyone else hate spring and summer?

I don't understand why people stay indoors. IN the fall when temps are in the 50's, that is perfect for me. I go out and wash my car, play basketball, etc. When the temp gets above 80 is when you have to stay indoors

i hate the summer because I hate heat. If it's above 70, it starts getting hot. then it gets sticky. and muggy. you go outside at like, midnight and it's 90 degrees. i despise going outside and sweating just going to the mailbox and back. i hate that. i like being able to walk out there and back and not work up a sweat and not be able to breathe lol. i prefer the winter. today is in the 40's and i went outside this morning in no shoes, just a shirt and shorts and i liked it. it may be cool but i didn't sweat to death. so i agree with u lol.

I personally love the Autumn with the crisp cool air..however the shorter days are depressing as heck for me.
I think that the lack of light is why most people feel less enthusiastic about Winter.
There are very few of us who are truly put out by the colder temps.
We simply bundle up and we change our activities.
There has been extensive research into using "light therapy" for curing and preventing the "mid winter blues."
Lucky for you that the shorter days(=less light) don't bother you,
as much as the heat seems to.
If you have alergies, the good news is there have been huge developments in drugs that wont make you comatose. like the older ones do .LOL.
By the way, a diet of less carbs can keep you cooler in the heat.
I hope I have helped.

I like all four seasons and enjoy them here in the northeastern part of the US.........my favorite season is spring....everything comes to life, the trees and flowers start to bloom......I can appreciate your take on winter......I loved it more when I was younger and used to ski all of the time. Now, I don't enjoy it as much only because I have asthma.....worse time of year for us unfortunately. And yes, it sure is cleaner air and the sky prettier at times but the sky is also very beautiful in the summer. Most of all I like the changing seasons.

I dont hate thoughs season, I prefer a medium temp. People like warmth of the sun, verses bitter cold I guess, plus being in the water.

I don't like summer but I like spring, autumn and winter, summer is too hot that I always stay at home turn on the fan. I guess why some people like summer they like to have tan skin and have fun outside as they are active people who like outdoors.

Oh! you don't recall the happiness of poor people. The world is full of down trodden. They can move freely, meet freely and enjoy from one part of the globe to other. well , you dislike because of discomfort that it brings through sweat an unwillingness to mix up with others at ease but that's the price required to be paid to meet the sense attached to other segmented people. Believe me summer is good the moment you start feeling for your poor people and friends living in under developed countries.

You can always put on more layers of clothing when it is cold. When it is too hot you are just going to suffer.
I am totally with you on this one.
