I thought it was a very good love story and life lesson story.

Did you notice at the end when Joe walked Bill over the hill, then returned as the guy from the coffee shop that, although he shouldn't know that the girls father, Bill, had died, and she shouldn't know either, she says that she wishes he could have known her father and he agrees. Isn't that a logic goof?

I agree with you on this one my daughters and I really love the movie and have watched it numerous times. We feel that it is a blooper and there are a couple more of them if you pay attention.

It is not a logic goof for a man who should be dead from a car wreck to know that there has to be a reason why he is suddenly at a party for a man who is not there, talking to a girl he has not seen in he knows not how long. She is asking him questions as if he should know where her father has gone. It is logical to assume that a man brought back from the dead would certain that death exists and that it or in this cas he has taken her father elsewhere. It is also logical that he has never met the girl's father.

It's a beautiful love story and it's an original idea. But as a movie I did not like it at all. It seems at times that they were trying to STRETCH the lenght of the movie. I can't believe no one found the dialogues when Anthony Hopkins' character was having a heartattack and between him and Joe Black at the end, unnecessarily long and tiresome.

Well, if death looks like Brad, please Come To Me!
Nah, just kidding. I think that his reaction was stupid and unrealistic, how come that in a time you are walking down the street, daylight, (right before Death took him) and suddenly you find yourself in the middle of the night, in a beautiful place that you've never seen and not knowing how the hell you got there.
It wasnt a bad movie, but I think it's a bit ilogic, not just that final part, the whole synopsis, I know that the whole thing (or that's my opinion) is about putting Death wishing to experince Life, the life that it takes away from humans itself. But I found many bits of it ilogical, or maybe it was Brad's performance, the fact that sometimes he looked like a robot, or that part when he was talking with the old lady that was dying, oh my god, that was awful, he pretending to talk like that, it was extremely feigned!

Wasn't there quite a few 'logic goofs' ? Fantastic movie though, have watched it 4 times now. Have you seen 'Fight Club', also worth watching.
