Does anyone know of any places to get one for a good price? I'm thin and petite (5'4"), so I'm looking for a coat that would end near my hips.

I think Old Navy has some, but I don't know about ending near the hips. Why don't u try ebay or bizrate, maybe they might. Oh yeah try www.delias.com too;) Good Luck!!
P.S. that Abercrombie one is beautiful, but the price isn't!! LOL!!

Try a military supply surplus store. Navy issue peacoats are very chic!

Try thrift stores or consignment shops. You might have to really look, but usually you can find one in great shape.
