I really want to get the hell outta here, I don't like how much control they have over me, and I feel they are able to controll me more and more everyday through their changing of laws, etc.
I wouldn't hate it at all If I just lived out on the land as a farmer with no electricity, it would bring me peace, living in another country or somewheres where the governemnt couldn't bother me. I wish the "other place" could still be in the U.S., but I know to be free I can't live here, that is reality.

Unfortunately you do not have a great deal of choices. You could migrate to another country. You could opt out and live in a hippie culture and be a farmer and try to live without electricity and other government services. It can be doneIt all depends on how badly you would like to try a new way of life.

You just sound paranoid.
No one is forcing you to stay in America and you can live on your land without electricity.
America is the only country that has all the freedom we have and all the securities. We can vote in or out of office the officials of our country.
Get out, go somewhere else. It is a shame when an American is trying to leave this country when there are so many other people trying so hard to get here. They risk their lives to make it here and you complain. Leave.......
More power to you.

I find it quite perplexing that people are complaining about wanting to leave the country at the same time others are complaining about how many are (illegally) crossing our borders to get in. Is this a hell hole, or is it the "land of opportunity" ??

Which is it?

Yeah, pack up and get out. I did 15 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made, and I will never go back. Once you leave, you will begin to dislike the place more and more every year as you realize how backward the place is.

I feel the same, the government has way to much control.
Move to Southeast Asia, Your money is worth more and you dont hear much out of the government.
I have been to the Philippines several times and I love the freedom you have there

Visit another country and see how nice your country is. P.S. The government really doesn't give a rats if you stay or go.
