first of all i would like to thanks George A. Romero, a big cheers for all of his zombie master piece...

theory of my own which include some detail from Resident Evil, Land of the Dead, 28 Days Later, and not to forget that funny Shaun of the Dead

In Shaun of the Dead, Shaun and his buddy pretend to be the living dead them self and fool the zombies but in other zombies movie they would be real zombie if they done that, in Dawn of the Dead 2006 they release a dog to carry supply to Andy's Gun work but they never attack the dog? so do the zombie really see human as food even if they pretend that they are dead? or do they have some senses?if u say the dog is below their feet and they can't see it then why not they escape crawling?
next why do zombie eat when they don't finish what they started?1 bite and off to the next?they never really consume their food.
can zombie really run?i mean their cells are dead unless the rejuvenating solution in Resident Evil help mantain their mucles

man ... the 1k restriction should be able to let us choose to turn it off .... anyway just want to know will zombie, by chances of ur theory that they will be able to walk upon us?

and also in Land of the Dead zombies are talking to each other trying to be one of the human... unless their brain haven really rot maybe thanks to the rejuvenating potion that Resident Evil create that have keep the zombie the way they are.... if u mix all the zombie movie out there u kinda believe that its very possible.....

i absolutely love zombies. they are the only monsters that can give me chill bumps. not even the great pinhead can do that. anyways, my theories on zombies. hmmmm...

i have a question myself. if zombies do eat, i.e. dawn of the dead remake, where does the food go? obviously they are dead and can't have proper body functions. none at all actually.

the whole dog theory and the crawling, i don't think it would work. i think the zombies see us as a prime or the food source. or maybe it's just a shut down of the brain that makes us into normal, emotional, empathetic human beings. i think the only thing that is working in the brain is the primal urges. to fight, to eat, to kill. like, in theory, why do vampires prefer human blood over animal blood? is there something in our flesh or blood that is lacking in other animals? do we simply taste better?

i think in the case of "pretending to be a zombie" would not work with real zombies. so to speak of coarse. i think they would have a keen sense of smell. they could tell between the living and the dead. again vampires come in as an example. anne rice's vampires being the example. would you want undead blood or living blood? which would sustain you better? the living blood does. am i getting off subject here? it's late for me sorry.

i don't think they can really run. if you think about it a little bit harder, whatever activity is going on in the brain has to be powering the muscles. it could be the whole primal urges. adrenaline and electric impulses in the brain. there has to be something making the body function. going into the complexities of the brain is awhole other question.

the common zombie would not be able to rejuvinate itself. it's dead, to a certain extent. obviously, the brain is controlling the body still. only damage to the brain to kill it. not even severing the spin does it. remember the head in the cooler in dawn of the dead(remake)?

so the common "dead" zombie would die in a matter of time. the brain would deteriorate. maybe all the eating has something to do with keeping the brain alive. the more they eat the better mobility and stamina they have. hmmmmm......food for thought.

28 days later is the best example of a "realistic" zombie. i can see a virus or parasite taking over the body and shutting down normal brain functions and turning us into ravenous killers. they would starve after awhile because they don't get anything to eat. all they have is anger, hate, and rage. to busy wanting to kill than eat. also, why did the "zombie' guys not kill the other infected people? you would think they would kill anything moving....

Humans can create realities that are dissolved in fantasies. Otherwise, the chance of getting hit by meteorite and turn into super hero, have the zombies walk for real is a very small chance to happen. Remember that Hollywood does not go by laws of physics, and common sense. They usually create something that is purely aimed at entartaining the audiance, and reality is set aside until the curtain is lifted up.

A zombie is an undead person in the Afro-Caribbean spiritual belief system of Vodoun (otherwise known as Voo-Doo in America). These folkloric zombies are humans who have had their "Ti Bon Ange" or soul stolen by supernatural means and shamanic medicine, and are forced to work for their "zombie master" as uncomplaining slaves on isolated plantations. Other more macabre versions of zombies have become a staple of modern horror fiction, where they usually engage in human cannibalism.

So I guess the movie versions of them being cannibalistic is a twist on what the reality of zombies are. George.A.Romeo's version (which has influenced many of the 'cannibalistic' versions of zombies) of zombies was actually influenced by the 1954 publication of I Am Legend by author Richard Matheson. It is the story of a future Los Angeles, overrun with undead bloodsucking beings. One man is the sole survivor of a pandemic caused by a bacterium that infects humans and causes vampirism. He must fight to survive nightly attacks by the creatures on his fortified home, as well as gather supplies, and hunt them during the daylight, and deal with being alone in the world. Therefore that sort of goes with the idea zombies are only interested in human blood and later ('Return of the Living Dead, 'Re animator, etc) interested in human brains!
