misspell things when they are typing on Yahoo Answers?
It bugs the sh*t out of me.

As long as I can understand what they are saying I really don't care, but there is a check spelling button, so I can see where it would bug some people.

I feel sorry for them, and not because they have trouble spelling, but because they seriously want to ask a question knowing they are going to be insulted by everyone on here. I mean, some of these people have sincere questions and the only responses some people put is "learn how to spell". To me, if your as smart as you think you are, and someone mis-spells a word, then you should be above insulting someone for not spelling it right, and just answer the question.

It happens to be the norm on this site......I really never knew how many people are somewhat illiterate. They don't spell correctly but also they can't put a sentence together either.....that's what really drives me nuts!

As long as I can guess what they were trying to spell then it doesn't bother me, but the ones that really butcher the spelling it can get annoying.

Me too. There is no excuse for it when spell check is right there.
Some of the shortcuts bother me too.Some are hard for me to figure out. My kids use them and I always have to ask "what does that mean?"

It doesn't matter to me. It's not a spelling bee. So who cares? As long as they get their point across.

What do you think of people who constantly complains? Yea it is annoying if they do it to much.....it's more annoying when others complain though

most times it doesn't bother me that much, some people are non English speakers and others are lazy, I find it as annoying as people using those abbreviations LOL. LMAO, etc...
