for a long time I had a flicker of a light but over time is has gone out and now I am dead inside. You asked a good question I don't know how many people will understand it.

Absolutely.....more times than I care to remember.

Sure hope your pilot-light hasn't gone out! :-)

I have been drained quite a bit, but I know that deep within:

Each of you hold within your heart a flame,
A beacon to guide you through the darkness.
If you can make this light shine upon another,
If you can reach into the innermost depths of their soul
And set their heart aflame,

Then therein, lies your purpose for being.

Relocate your pilot light to your butt. Each time the flame starts to flicker, just cut one loose.

Sometimes out and sometimes a slow flicker.
Wish I could go back to a time when there was
not so much pain in the world.

I know how you feel. My backlight for my radio and clock stopped working in my car. I never know what chanel I am on or what track I am listening to or what time it is. It is annoying!
