I don't know what to do after high school. I just don't want to do anything any more, I've even been dropping my classes. I don't wanna go to college, work, my friends houses... I'm not sure if I want friends anymore...I don't think I wanna live anymore. High school didn't teach me anything about the real world. I'm a weak person, and I don't want to become a bum on the street, there's too many already. I'm not motivated, nor do I care about doing anything... I'm dead. What do you think I should do?

I just graudated and I'm in college now. Maybe you should try community college part time for a little bit. This way you can find out what you want to do. You'll be surprised how many different and interesting classes they have. There are about 20 classes I want to take that have nothing to do with my major! I'm not sure how to motivate U. What's causing you to act this way? You sound depressed. You should see someone about that. (not sure who...but you should see someone before taking anti-depressants cause you may not need them)

College will make you a stronger person. You will be introduced to so many different people and perspectives! You will be put into situations that will help you get stronger. Here's a heads up, say no to drugs! Just by doing that, it will keep U out of lots of trouble.

Other than that, I say take a vacation. Disney World is cool. If you can't get there find somewhere closer and less expensive. Maybe you're burnt out and need to relax.

But really, seeing a specialist or somebody about this may be your best bet.

Couldn't take easy high school anymore, dropped junior year, which actually worked out well because I scored so high on the GED I got a 3,000 a year scholorship to Missouri State University when I got back from touring the east coast.

And yes, I was depressed, I had always put my troubles into music since I was 12, my parents were abusive drug addicts, so that is another reason I had to get out of school and get out in the world for myself at 17. Other problems besides that, but it gets ugly. Clincial depression sucks.

Hmmm ... went to college, buried my parents (with my siblings), entered the Military, Finished the College Degree, climbed up the ranks, got my Commission (As a Military Officer), had a short disaster of a marriage, became a long-term single parent of TWO disabled children, earned my Graduate Degrees, Retired from the Military, finished raising my two disabled children to adulthood ... now ...

Am going BACK to College as an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree for FUN and to stay active in Mind, Body, and Spirit.

I think you should stop and get yourself together. You were placed here for a purpose. Get off your butt and be a contribution to your family, society, and the human race. You dont have to go to college, but do something and stop being negative. You are in good health and young. Be prosperous and grateful for the life that you have, and grateful for the life you are yet to see... get a job or volunteer in a nursing home, soup kitchen, battered shelter... you will soon see how had life is for some, and appreciate your options. Live and be happy!

Go to the doctor hun sounds like you have a bad case of depression don't worry I am like that to. It sucks you don't know where your life is going or how your gonna get there. Basically you admitted that life sucks and your seeing it first hand its kinda shocking you. Go to the doctor and try to see things with a smile and it can get better.
