I saw a man on the street, It looked like he needed a shower,something to eat,new clothes, he looked pretty bad all around, I gave him $20 and said go get yourself a good meal, he never said thank-you or anything, as I was walking further down the street I saw a older woman making flowers out of paper, she had a little purse next to her for people to put whatever change they had and she would give them a flower, I wish I had never given that $20 away, she could have used it more,

Yes. I have done people favors and gotten back nothing but ungratefulness and attempts to use me. I have also given money to a beggar only to meet her on holiday abroad a week later.
