2000 impala, when it rains my turn signals go out and sometimes they dont, but when they do the only way to get them to work is to push the hazzard button real quick and they will flash back on. Now my hazzards dont work. What is going on in this danged ol chevy?

I have a 2005 Checvy and everyone is right about the problem being that you have a Chevy!! You need to look up Technical Service Bulletins for your car on NHTSA just to know what could be wrong with your car. I have researched alot regarding Chevy's and GM's and it sounds like there may be a short in the wiring and maybe some grounding issues for the turn signals or a fuse problem (??).
Maybe they only use wiring that allow you to turn the blinkers so many times before they start shorting out; then Chevy drivers start getting tickets for no blinker. This is how GM gives money back to the community.

It sounds like something in the wiring harness shorting out from the front of the vehicle. Buy something Japanese, and stay away from American made trash, unless it is a Dodge Ram 2001 and above, or a Cadillac!

You have a short circuit at the front of your car. Take it to a competent shop unless you know how to troubleshoot electrical issues.
