The more attractive the prize the more patient I become. Or else I just get stupid or stubborn

Depending on the situation...usually I am pretty good at waiting patiently...you know waiting in line...waiting at the doctors office.
My biggest challenge of waiting is...when I let my daughters go somewhere on their own...if they are not back at the exact time they were told, I tend to get very very worried and anxious. You know with panic and fear...then when they have made it back...I get a little upset that I was fearful and they were just lagging.
I think that is really the hardest time I have with waiting.

In extreme conditions, I can wait a very long time.
I have become patient with my years. I have found that the more patient I am, the sooner the event I await will be resolved. and the more likely it will be resolved in my favor.

I once waited 6 hours in the ER before they would see me. This was with a compound fracture and severe lacerations. When the doctor saw me he was outraged that they made me wait. I didn't mind much except for the pain.

what's the point? are you waiting for something and need a little distraction from impatience?just curious......I'm somewhat patient,like everyone else it would depend on what I was waiting for.
