Credit union will usually be you best bet, but if you don't own a house, it may be hard to get an unsecured loan for a large amount. Try lowermybills.com. There is no obligation and at least you will have something to compare to the credit union offer.

Avoid those credit counseling services. Many are fronts for the credit card companies in the form of non-profit shell companies. You could ruin your credit.

There is a great person - 2 - person lending company i have used for many personal loans. Credit doesn't matter.

Go with your credit Union. They will give you the better deal most of the time. Online companies (most, not all) will tell you that they have a lower rate but they have all of these fees. Go with people you know.

Your bank - they usually offer a lower interest rate. You can ask for a consolidation loan and or a line of credit.
