this is a famous university that was started some hundred years back.it offers both regular course and distance courses. the head quarters is chidambaram(tamilnadu) it takes 6 hours to reach from chennai.all the best

Even Madras Unversity was good but now Anamalai is better in everything. Madras university is delaying the book materials and annamalai is not.
I'm a madras unversity correspondence student. and i said this in my personal expeience

that's correct it is in the state of Tamilnadu......but not in Chennai i guess.....it has a branch office in Delhi also in Shanker garden in Janakpuri........................
