I have a friend who got her belly button pierced at some place. She said that you had to have your birth certificate (to prove you were old enough...she said you had to be 16 and that the person you brought with you was a parent/guardian), a PARENT/GUARDIAN with their ID to prove that they really ARE your parent/guardian. for others i don't really know.

If I remember correctly its 16 for piercings and 18 for tattoos, otherwise yes you have to have a guardian present.

Yeah usually. Because they don't just let little kids come out and let them get things pierced. You need someone atleast 18-21 I heard.

If you are under 18 you must have a guardian with you for anything. Please don't go to some rinky dinky place that says they'll do it for you with out a guardian because at places like that you can only expect the worst. I've seen it.

yeah, And also it can't be like your older sister or brother it has to be your parent! I tried getting my ears peirced at the mall and they said a couldn't because my parent wasn't there. But the thing is that my sister was with me and she's 30!

yes unless you are in canada, where the legal age is 16. i would not recomend you taking things into your own hands when it comes to peircings, i have seen to many people get infections, so please get a professional to do it!
