I know that her fiance was murdered a while back, which is why she got into law and is such a vehement victims' rights advocate.

During the disappearance of Laci Peterson I was a huge fan of Nancy Grace.
However after watching her for a while it became impossible to watch.
She just keeps on & on on the SAME BS till it turns your stomach.
IE..the shooting @ the Atlanta courthouse, the runaway bride, the Natalie Hollaway/Aruba story, etc.
If I didn't know better I'd think she was Judge Judy's offspring. LOL
Enough already!!
However I did attempt to watch her recent Anna Nicole Smith interview a day or so ago thinking finally someone would interview her & tell her to get some intervention & out of the public view for a while.
That ANS nut is a diasaster of her own making!!
But lo & behold if Nancy Grace appeared to be on poor pitiful Anna's side!!!
What a joke!!!
Everyone knows Anna will do anything for publicity (good or bad)
& I just thought Nancy wouldn't be so gullible!!!
WTF????

But to answer your question(s):
According to her bio:
Her life was changed after the murder of her fiancé.
The incident motivated her to enroll in law school and eventually
becoming a felony prosecutor and a supporter of victims' rights.

In March 2006 an article in the New York Observer suggested
that Grace had embellished the story of her fiancé's murder and
the ensuing trial to make it better support her image.
Her fiancé, Keith Griffin, was shot not by a random stranger on
the street, but by a former coworker.
Tommy McCoy, who was convicted of the killing, was five years
younger than Grace said and did not have a prior criminal record.
Rather than constantly denying the crime, McCoy confessed the night of the murder.
The jury deliberated for a few hours, not days, as Grace said.
Prosecutors asked for the death penalty without consulting Grace.
Both the defense and the prosecutors believe that the jury chose
life imprisonment instead of death penalty because McCoy was
mildly retarded in addition to having no prior criminal record.
There was no ongoing string of appeals (McCoy's family did not want any).
McCoy has only once filed a habeas petition, which was
rejected.
The killing occurred in 1979, not 1980, and Griffin was two years
younger than Grace has claimed.
Grace told the Observer she had not looked into the case in
many years and "(tried) not to think about it."
She said she was told initially that McCoy had denied the crime (the officer who took him into custody said he remained silent during his entire trip to jail).
She said she made her previous statements about the case "with the knowledge I had."
Her mother told the paper she has repeatedly advised her daughter to let it go.

Nancy does have a boyfriend. She dates but the one true love of her life was killed and she still has strong feelings for him. I think she is the greatst because she has the spine to go against the flo and give victims a voice, she stands up for what she believes in and digs her feet in. Nancy tells it like it is, she has no problem putting a creep in his place. She is so good in court, why do you think they refer to her as Amazing Grace?

Hi, I didn't know about her boyfriend being murdered. That would explain her unreasonable, over the top attitude towards the defendents. Her tunnel vision and refusal to look at both sides irritates me. I don't know if she is dating anyone or not. I watch court tv all day, but have never heard her or any of the other hosts mention anything about her personal life.

No living thing can stand to be in a room with this annoying person for more than 5 minutes, so no.
