We are trying for something unique not a shallow name like Britney, Alex, etc. We want something different so their aren't 20 of them in their class (Ashley, Rachel, Matthew, etc.)

I'd go back to the drawing board, with these guidelines:

1. DON'T name your child after any noun. No objects or qualities that will most likely not match up with his or her personality and will just end up being something he or she finds embarrassing. So no Blaze, Roman, Whistler or Liberty.

2. DON'T name your child anything difficult to pronounce, or on the first day of school every year his or her classmates will chuckle as the new teacher mangles his or her name. So no Micagiah or Lachlan.

3. DON'T name your child anything that can be turned into another common word. So no Dasan (he'll be Dasani water) or Macadrian (she'll be Macadamia nut).

The rest you've chosen just rub me the wrong way.

Most are just too weird. Blaze is a name for a horse. Whistler would make bullies beat him up. Just terrible. The only decent girls' names on the list are Adeline and Georgianna. The others are made up and bad. Give a child a name that will look good on a college or job application.

You need to rethink the boys names, Blaze, Whistler is your child going to be a superhero? Alastair is the name of that evil satanic man. The girls names are a little better. I like Liberty and Georgianna best. Please dont name your daughter Merriwether, it sounds like someone's last name. Good luck cause judging from those awful names you desperately need it.

I agree with most, those names are horrible. Sure, they might be ok on the first day of preschool, but they will definitely be picked on in grade school with such weird names.

Also, think of them when they get older, I can't even imagine an 80 yr old in a rocking chair named Blaze... If you insist on giving your poor child such an awful name, make it their middle name, with a normal first name. That way, they at least have a chance!

Sorry but I hated them all. I got a son he is named Brandon and I love that name. If I had another son I would name him Zack or Dillion. If I have a girl I would choose out of these 3 names Ashlyn, Elizabeth, Christina. Those are the names I personally like. Just a suggestion.

Not so sure about the girls names, but I love the name Roman for a boy.

They're all good except Micagiah, Whistler, Chayton, Zuzana and Merriwether.
