Please, Please, Please do not do any of the suggestions given forth. They will only cause you to lose water wight which can be very dangerous in the long term. I know how you feel wanting to lose some weight in order to look good for an event. The best answer to your problem would be to eat fruits, vegetables, and only lean meat (chicken or turkey preferably) for the amount of time that you have until the event. Don't eat any bread or sugars. Also, workout for an hour or so a day while drinking lots of water to burn some extra calories. Just remember to not limit your calorie intake so severely that you become sick instead of thin. Good Luck!

Try the Master Cleanse aka the Lemonade Diet. It's really a cleanser, not a diet. But as your body is being cleanse, you get rid of toxins in your body. So you could definately lose a few pounds in six days. If you do right, your supposed to lose 2 pounds a day. If you can handle it. When i did it i lost 10 pounds in 8 days. well, i am 16yrs old and i have been strugling wiht bulimia for about 3 yrs, trust me it is not the answer. you should jsut cut back on sweets for the rest of the week. and also i used to be on my middle school wrestling team (yes i am a girl) and when we needed to lose 2 or 3 pounds a day or 2 before the meet our coach made us put on a bunch of warm clothes (like 4 sweatshirts, 2 pants...) w/e (so you sweat more) and run run run till cant run any more, trust me it works. do that everyday for about 1-2 hours and you'll lose the weight you want to, but you have to work for it!
