I thought it was a sign of showing that we remember what they had done for us. so why not show that all the time and not for a couple days then forget about it the rest of the year. I've had people tell me it's disrespectful to keep your poppy on after rememberance day. if they are saying that the young people in the world today are becoming more and more ignorant to what happened in the wars then why don't they do something about it rather then just wearing a poppy for a couple days then tossing in in the garbage and shugging it off until next year? i'd love to find out other peoples thoughts on this subject.

My friend that is a great question , one that has been kicked around for awhile.

I agree why should we only remember the veterans for a short time when we should be remember there sacrifices all the time , it's a shame that as you said, "the young people in the world today are becoming more and more ignorant to what happened in the wars ".

I think that something should be done about this but it apparently has become common place to only give thanks for sacrifices once a year.
