Really Tough Question, But I'm going to go with HHH
Yes Triple H,
Long been discussed that Triple H needed to be in the limelight or have some kind of Championship to feel important or be the best at what he does. But in the last few months without a title and not in the title picture, I've watched Hunter finally get back to wrestling, he maybe goofy now that the DX thing is mainstream again but at least he's wrestling. I remember how early in his career he was a good wrestler and brawler, and then he hit big time and started winning championships he went from wrestling to barely doing one single wrestling move, before he grabbed the old gamehammer and ended the match. All last year if anyone didn't notice Triple H was hurt, he had knee wraps, and shoulder wraps and he could barely climb in the ropes for a match. Well since they took away his championship status for the time being anyways he's gotten himself healthy, he's wrestling and actually looks like the HHH of old with his in ring matches, interviews, and non injuries. Plus he's being a team player right now and it's not me me me give me the championship or else. Although I'm waiting for Him to regain his championship which will happen soon, if anyone can't remember he told John Cena in a passer by moment earlier this year that he's just keeping it warm for him until he returns, I really dig the way he's sharing the spotlight, being a team player, putting over some of the other younger wrestlers, and being healthy.
Time to play the Game !

It's hard to say at the moment. I do think Kurt Angle got a very good talent. His wrestling skills are very good. Although he trains like any other wrestler, he stands out of all of them. He got a nice gimmick and he got a great fighting style, unlike many wrestlers. I am glad that he went to TNA, a place where there are many talents with many different moves, gimmicks etc. The WWE didnt deserve Kurt Angle and doesnt deserve many wrestlers they already have. Paul London and Brian Kendrick dont look like entertainers to me, they look like very skilled man that deserve to go to TNA because they will do a lot of good things in TNA. TNA might be a few steps lower than the WWE but TNA has definitely got great talent and puts up a better show than the WWE does, in my opinion. Paul London and Brian Kendrick are my favorites. But since they might be splitting up (i dont know but you will probably think the same if you have watched last nights SD!) i think they should go elsewhere where they will be pro wrestlers, not entertainers. It is hard to see who is the best wrestler at the very moment because every thing is scripted! But i can tell you that Kurt Angle is the best at this very moment. He is even better than the Immortal Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan is just a showstopper, entertaining, everything. But when i watch the WWE i look for pro wrestling too. I still dont understand why Hulk Hogan turns up now and then. I dont understand why people call him the best, or a legend. He migth be a legend in entertaining but so can anyone else (Triple H or Shawn Michaels for example). Triple H is okay, he is not the best but he does entertain me more than some people in the WWE locker room. I dont like DX being together but that is than another story which is off the subject. I would go with Kurt Angle because.. He is the only one that puts up a great show and shows real pro wrestling, than Paul London and Brian Kendrick follow.. The rest are just a bunch of actors. Have a nice day and im sorry for this essay!

Triple H,Shawn Michaels,Kurt Angle and the Undertaker. They all made wrestling history. The wrestlers who put WWE where it is today were(are) Triple H,HBK,Undertaker,The Rock,Hulk Hogan and The Rattlesnake,it's too bad that Hogan,Rock and Austin are not wrestling anymore.Instead WWE try to replace them with Cena. There will never be a single best wrestler,it's just too hard to choose one.

CM Punk may not be the best today, but he could easily be the next Bret Hart. He has charisma, a lot of in ring talent, and knows how to tell a story in the ring, something many "wrestlers" have forgotten recently.

Kurt Angle is by far the best wrestler you will ever get whether it be amateur or professional. There's not a man in the WWE or now TNA that could seriously beating Kurt one on one in a real, or even fake, wrestling match. Many of the pros have tried amateur wrestling Kurt in the locker room and lost, including Brock Lesnar. You would know that if you read his autobiography. Besides, he has a gold medal to prove it.

I'm reading some of the other answers and some of those wrestlers shouldn't be on this subject. I will answer the question after I tell you why those other guys are wrong. Andre was one of the Best gimmicks/characters of all time, but not "wrestlers". He had a very small arsenal of moves because of size. Besides he died years ago, so he doesn't belong on this question. Mr. Kennedy is a great wrestler, great persona, great mic skills, creative arsenal of moves, and he is still young, but he is just starting to shine and hecan't sell PPV's and Merchandise on his own yet, like Very few can. Umaga is a great gimmick and heel, right now, and unfortunately that is all he is. Matter of fact, the only reason they brought him in, is so they can compete with TNA's Samoa Joe. He is nothing but WWE's an answer for Samoa Joe. I can go all day about why Umaga isn't the best right at this moment, despite his unbeaten streak. He has been beaten, just not pinned! Batista is just inhuman. He is great, but he lacks creativity with his very few moves. He hasn't really wrestled anyone great " as of late". But I see him as the next "Hulk". Brock is one of my favorites. He left in his prime. But in reality, who gets to watch Brock matches in Japan. He should'nt even be in this subject. Now, if he was on american TV (WWE,TNA) then he would be my vote because he is so innovative and young. Ric Flair was the best of the late 80's, early, and mid 90's, but it is absolute isane to name him the best at this very moment. Now that leaves only one person, and this is the answer to your question. KURT ANGLE! His moves, mic skills, character, persona, etc, is golden. For the TNA fans, he is the one who is going to put TNA on his back, so they can compete with WWE. I think he should be right next to Bret Hart when it is all over. Kurt Angle along with Triple H will go down as the 2 best wrestlers of our time!

Definitely Chris Benoit! The reason is because he has very few flaws and is good at almost every aspect of pro wrestling, plus he can actually wrestle (unlike John Cena and Roidtista). I hope that answers your question.

This is a no brainer--Kurt Angle. Remember--99% of the "wrestlers" are "sports entertainers" and not actually "wrestlers" while Kurt Angle was a "real" wrestler and has the gold medals to prove it. No one else in "professional wrestling" can make that claim.
