I will tell you later...honestly I got a job that wouldn't let me do it. I used to put off papers to the last minute in college, but I couldn't do it in the real world. I started doing a "to do" list for everything I wanted to accomplish that day, if I didn't finish the list, those got moved onto the top of my list the next day. I am huge procrastinator, and the only way I keep out of it is with a to do list every day.

One word: chill! More than likely you procrastinate because you worry a lot about the way things will turn out. Relax. The world won't stop spinning if you make a decision that is less than perfect. If you make a bad one, just shrug it off and keep going. You'll miss out on what life has to offer if you don't act now!

Think on the negative consequences of procrastination, and of the effect that it has on your self-esteem and confidence. It would feel like a great accomplishment if you were able to overcome it, and you'd get a lot more things done that you probably want to see completed.

It's hard to get rid of, but still a very worthwhile endeavor and one that will help you in all aspects of your life. I hope you succeed.

I understand this one. My therapist once told me that I was a procrastinator and was quite masterful at it. I was going to divorce my wife but I had put it off too long so she divorced me instead. I would think that procrastination is something to talk over with a therapist if you ever get around to it. You might need medication if you're Bi-polar which is very common I've heard.

Task lists are really good, or a simple binder with lined paper and when things come down the pipe start writing. every now and then look and edit the list (do some of the things) the best part is crossing off accomplishments that way your brain thinks youve done something worthwhile, at the end of the day or week LOOK AND SEE the difference.

Try it out

Procrastination comes from not being able to make a decision, being lazy, insecure, or maybe scared you will mess up-again! BUT, without taking action in your life, NOTHING will change. Do you like yourself the way you are? If not, only you can take the steps to change the problems-and make your life better. You will, depending how miserable it makes you!

Make a realistic list and prioritize the tasks. Force yourself to do at least one before you can watch TV, read, or do something you want to do. Do this every day until you can finish two tasks, then three. You get the idea.

well
try to plan youe homework and work timign scheduled out.
but one you get the hang of procratinating it's hard to stop!
i am begginning to do that too.
but instead of gogin on myspace or sumthing
try dogin your work
and don't listen to musci or chat when you are doing your work cuz distraction causes alot of problem and can lead to more and more serious procastination.
oh and also
if you procastinated and stay up really late and finish your work and wake up early the next day, it's bad for your health and you cna't focous on your work becuase you are to exhausted..

so try to do your work and ect as soon as possible
at least try!

Do just a small part of what faces you. In no time at all, you'll want to do it all to get it done and out of your way. It works for me every time I try. The hardest part of getting anything done is just starting.
