hey there .

i had my 1st kid at 23 ...i believe in the 20s would be a good time ..to have kids ..provided u guys are stable n financially stable .. n besides u till got the energy to run around with them ...

I would recommended not to have kids 35 n above ...

firstly ...mothers may have miscarriage..as u grow older yr body gets weaker ...if u dont take good care from young ..

secondly ...yr baby may be adnormal ....the risk is there ..

I see parents having kids around 30 plus or 40 plus .i find a selfish act ...to be direct .how long can they see their kids grow up ? also are they able to take care of them when they are troddlers ..u need loads of engery ..kids are hyper ...n we are not as we grow old ... that a factor that needs to think about ..

It is just my own thoughts n opinon..wont want to offend any one here ...but if u feel that having a child at a later stage in life then go ahead ..life is yrs do what best u think is right ! End of the day as long you and yr family are happy ...

cheers

Suffer young n enjoy later part of life (my thoughts)

I am 25 and on my 3rd pregnancy. My husband and I wanted to be a young family & are lucky enough to have the income& stability to allow us to do so. Too old is personal, I wanted to be done having children by 27 some woman dont want to be mothers until 35 or 40. I mean it is obvious 50 is a bit too old. Whenever you are ready finacilaly & feel like you can handle the responsibilty

In biological terms, you don't really need to worry about starting a family until you're about 40. You might want to consider doing it in your mid-30s if you plan on having multiple kids, but anytime between 30-35 or so is fine. Starting earlier than that is too soon. You havent lived or experienced much of life yet before that, and you're still becoming a mature adult. Once you have kids, that's pretty much the end of freedom until they leave home as adults themselves, so dont rush into it.

I saw a lady on Oprah yesterday that started having kids at 51! i can't imagine that. I was 21 when I had my son. (He's almost 2 now) But my aunt is 36 and still hasn't gotten Pregnant, she is trying though. It really is up to you and depends on your situation. I think 25 is a good age though.

Any time that you and your partner decide it is the right time for you. You have plenty of time, if there is career, schooling etc. that you want to spend more time on right now and feel that you need to wait to start a family or if you want to test yourselves as parents, try being foster parents. It will definately tell you if you are ready or not.

I dont think a woman is ever too old to become a mother. But regretfully every woman has their own biological clock to think about. No one person can tell you the right age to conceive, you just have to be comfortable with yourself when the time is right for you.

Of course fertility rates fall after the age of 30, but it is still up to the individual.

You decide, noone can do that for you.

Anytime from mid-20's to mid-30's is good. No older than about 35 though. I think 28-32 is perfect. Still young enough, but more mature and likely to be a good parent.

Too old? Well, after menopause, i would imagine. I personally didn't want to wait until I was thirty to have my first, because we have always planned on having three and I didn't want to be fifty five when my youngest graduated from college. It's more a matter of personal preference than anything else.

It starts to become harder to conceive when you reach your mid-forties. There are also more risks for you and the child. You just have to ask yourself if you're ready. If you feel like you are then what age you are shouldn't matter. You just need to be ready maturity wise and financially.
