Concerning Iraq- No one else (as in other countries) that i know of where willing to step in and help the people over seas. THERE leader was messed up and im proud that our country was willing to take the steps to not only think of ourselves, but the concern of others as well. The news only shows the bad, the need business. I dont know exactly how the people over there feel but i think that our country is amazing for making a difference and trying to help other people. :D

I am proud that our country has always come to the defense of the innocent.
I think liberals only think of themselves and don't give a hoot about innocent lives in jeopardy. They are more concerned about their own political agenda than the people they claim to support.
When America gets attacked who you gonna call?

I also support Bush 10000% and at first I was upset but then read something that made me feel so good. The man said the demo's didn't win, the repulicans lost and it wasn't that the people chose the demo's they were punishing the republicans. He also said and I believe that this is like a time out for the republicans to get their stuff back in order, get back in shape and they will be back, no doubt totally back. The demo's only have 2 yrs to prove themselves and going into this without a plan will be their downfall. And you have to look at what's going on, they are already bickering, turning on each other and talking big without saying anything and they haven't even taken office yet! I just hope they don't get us attacked again when they let the liberals dictate their enemy loving ideas!

Actually, I'm not upset whatsoever. I think it's great that the democrats have had a win. I'm not from or live in the US, but I live on one of the commonwealths and I can tell you that receiving all the leftover governmental baggage is horrible. Besides, I am totally against the war and believe that Bush has sent hundreds of thousands of men and women to their death and has terrorized the lives of the people that live in the countries his troops have invaded. My cousin went to Iraq and the stories he's told me are gruesome. Trust me, there is no glory in it. It's a profit war and I think all this death is ridiculous.

I respect a lot of people's political views, but when the government enters your home and does what it wills with YOUR life and YOUR family as if we were all pawns I draw the line. All governments lack honesty, but Bush's presidency has caused way too much damage to fix. I'm glad SOMEONE is stepping in to clean up his mess.

I'm not unhappy about the outcome of the election because I think it was time for a shakeup in the Republican Party. they were acting like Democrats and that's just not acceptable. I do wish that some of the leadership posts had gone to the young guys but we'll be watching Boehner and Blunt to see how they do. I'm very gladd that Trent Lott is back in a leadership role. He's very good at keeping the party in line and he's also very good at getting what he wants out of the Democrats.

The Democrats are, for the most part, morons. I didn't vote for very many of them in this past election. But compared to our pathetic joke of a president and all of his retarded cronies, the Dems seem like rocket scientists. They certainly weren't my first choice, but they are far better than the inept Republican stooges who spent the last 6 years flushing America down the toilet. So, I'm thrilled to see those criminals out of power (in Congress anyway).
Of course, nothing much will change considering the majority of the Democratic and Republican parties consist mostly of corrupt, greedy politicians who are pimped by soulless corporate lobbyists and self-serving special interest groups. Dems are bad, Republicans are worse, and BushCo is the WORST of the worst!

The party has become complacent and disenchanted of late. This election was a wake up call and changes will be made; hey, Rumsfeld's already gone. I'm not upset about the elections because the results were fairly well predictable, and hey, that's Democracy in action. What's gonna happen in Washington for the next two years with the new balance of power? Probably not much....other than gridlock, stalemates, and vetoes. Don't worry!

I support this president. I worked on his election in 2000. I know I got some ladies over 60, who had been life long Democrats to consider George W. Bush. They needed help to pay for prescriptions. The Democrats had lured all the old people along for twenty years making promises and doing nothing, GW does what he says he will do, or at least he tries.

The congressional elections just mean we're going back to what used to be normal:
gridlock. Lots of screaming, no action.

I understand the historical aspects of mid term elections; however, the election results don't come from a clammering for liberalism. These results come from an anger from conservatives at Republicans who have taken the consevative base for granted. This serves the Republicans right.

Believe it or not, I didn't like Bush before this last election. I was very impressed with his concessions on saying that the voters have spoken. If he follows through and gets us out of IRAQ, I will be even more impressed. Remember also, that the US has a history of doing this to second term presidents like Clinton and Reagan...

I guess enough people were swayed by the constant stream of misinformation coming from the media. We'll see what they actually do in the next couple of years.

My bet is that they won't do much. I'm still laughing at what the Dems did to John Kerry before the election! They must have a "secret bunker" too! LOL!
