That's a good question. For the same reason they can replace the smiley face default avatar with the profile of a man. I'm wondering why they have allowed several racist posts to be posted this evening when they clearly violate the community guidelines? I think you should be able to answer/ask as many questions as you want to.

Click on your level underneath your icon - it will take you to the page where you can see how many questions you can answer in a day.
Once you reach level 5, you can ask and answer questions all day long with no limits, except how many points you have.

Yeah, I don't get that either. It only happened to me once, and when it did I just decided I had wasted way too much time screwing off on the internet and needed to go do something productive instead.

there are 100 points a day limit on some levels...
