Although I certainly believe that God sets the standards that I should live by, in all reality....I think my standards are set by society. Since a child they were ingrained into me, and sometimes I find it difficult to decipher whether a standard was made up by a human person or by the Creator.

Others to be honest, I see all that people do to each other and to their selves and I have to tell myself that I don't want to be that way.
It's funny to say, but I do have kind of an unwritten code, people often tell me that I live in the wrong time period or something.
I just don't want to be like everyone around me, I want to see the world through my eyes and those who appreciate life and what they have.

This is a million dollar question! I just fought wit my folks and this is exactly wat i told them. U live by your standards, do not expect me to follow suit.
Neways answering your question some are set by the society, some our families and some by us as individuals.
