Once she crossed the line from employee to girlfriend the employee employer relationship ended. It was her choice to help him with the divorce, kids, business and if not monetary agreement was made in this regard he doesn't owe her a thing. It sounds to me like he used her. She is feeling used and now wants to get back at him. All she can do is learn from it and move on with her life. Pretty much the consequences for allowing herself to be taken advantage of. Sounds like he played her pretty good..... But she should have realized what kind of man he was by the way he treated the mother of his children.

Wow! What a mess we get ourselves into. here is the deal, If she worked as a nanny, took care of the children bathed them fed them and tacked them in bed, and also slept with the father and was not paid, she is owed in back pay. That is the law, and I am sorry that it sound so awkward.

It's pretty much like sleepning with your boss in the office but at the end of the pay period you still get your check. This is not any different.

The only thing of course the dude was nt very inteligent, you do not trade your wife for a nanny! no matter how cute and shapely she might be, that pregnant wife will get back to size as well, it is temporary, and hey you were the cause anyway.

I am sorry that this is how it ended, but if he divorsed you this is his responibility. his burden and he must take charge, for the back pay, and for the child support! He put himself in this mess, and only he can remove himself!

Hang in there granny, things will trun for better, they are only temporary!

Good luck.

How selfish you are. you are the nanny then the girlfriend keep in mind you were with a married man, UMMMMMMMM no you don't deserve to get paid, you acted like a W**** and that was not fair to the wife and or those kids. Grow up and stop sleeping with your employers, oh and the only reason you want any money now is because he don't want you anymore he used you and you got played so don't act like you are innocent you are doing nothing but trying to get revenge and that is wrong. Grow UP

She should be compensated for the time she worked as a nanny. As an act of kindness, be given some money to start her new life if she needs some help.

Sure, he could pay her. Take the amount of time she worked, deduct rent, food, half (or at least a portion of) the utilities.

I agree with previous posters. What a mess. I would say that if I were him, cut her the smallest check he could to get her out of his hair. If she wants to hire a lawyer and sue for the rest, let her go ahead. She'll be airing her own dirty laundry.

Kick her out. no money owed. over and done with. lol how dumb can people really be. I can't believe someone would do that to a Married couple. what is this world coming to. She was hired to take care of the kid not daddy.

You shouldn't pay her for being your girl friend but it would be a good gesture to help pay a few expense's helping her move out and get set up again. This is just common courteousy

Nope, she was his "girlfriend", you don't get paid for being in a relationship. Sorry, call it one of life's unpleasent experiences and move on, don't jump in so fast next time! You are lucky you are not pregnant from this winner!

What an unholy mess!
Sounds like he used her big time.
She was a willing victim.
She was wrong to come between him and his pregnant wife and saw an opportunity for herself as well.
I say no...you reap what you sow...they deserve each other.

If he was supporting her while she stayed on as his girlfriend and they had no arrangement as to whether there would be payment for her services rendered, then all she got was scr*wed.
